The LTE USB stick with a GSM/UMTS/LTE modem can dial into a mobile communication network via a common SIM card. The stick can be used to retrofit Industrial PCs with mobile communication if the need arises. This means there are virtually no limits to connectivity to databases and cloud systems. Also, an Internet connection can be set up even in less populated areas, given sufficient cellular coverage.
