UDT Model 1000 Autocollimator with Collimation Objective Tube

UDT Model 1000 Autocollimator with Collimation Objective Tube, This is a modular autocollimator assembly manufactured by United Detector Technology (UTD). It probably dates from the early 1980’s or late 1970’s. The model 1000 autocollimator head had two different focal length lenses available, as well as several types of detectors. There is a BNC cable coming from the collimation head, but there is no beam-splitting prism present. We are not sure if a detector is within the head, or if there was some sort of light source. If it were a detector we believe there would have been some sort of quadrature sensor, in which case one would need significantly more data lines than a simple coaxial connection. The end of the autocollimator tube is an open sleeve of 1 inch diameter.
