Cylindrical Lens, +100mm f.l., Mounted

This is a plano-cylindrical lens. These lenses have a defined magnification in one direction, and perpendicular to that direction they are effectively ‘unpowered’. Cylindrical lenses find numerous applications in holography, as well as imaging elongated slits in spectrometers and monochromators.
